For the past 10 years Prof. Shimon Maimon has served as the head of the Invasive Radiosurgery Department at Sourasky Hospital (Ichilov Medical Center). He is also one of the senior specialists at Assuta Medical Center’s Department of Invasive Radiology. Over his career prof. Maimon performed over six thousand invasive neuroradiologic procedures and more than 800 AVM treatments both in Israel and abroad. In 1998 he has founded the first invasive neuroradiology unit in Israel.
