Basic work-up program (when a prostate tumour is not suspected so biopsy isn’t required) includes the following investigation:
- Comprehensive blood workup (including CBC, CMP, electrolyte levels, lipid profile, testosterone, PSA (free and bound) coagulation factors, ESR and VDRL)
- Urine tests (urinalysis and culture)
- STD urine test
- Urinary tract US scan (including assessment of PVR)
- Urologist consultation
The aforementioned investigations will be completed within 3 to 4 business days.
