Knee Arthroscopy Surgery in Israel

What is Knee Joint Arthroscopy?

Knee joint arthroscopy is a surgical procedure, which allows physicians to directly observe the joint with the help of a small camera without having to perform a large incision. It is used to both diagnose and treat a wide array of issues. Due to its limited scope it helps prevent many potential complications that are often seen with more invasive surgeries, and allows patients to recover their quality of your life within a relatively short period.

You should seek knee arthroscopy in Israel if you suffer from any of the conditions listed below:

  • Meniscus tear
  • ACL/PCL tear/injury
  • Synovial bursa injury/inflammation
  • Kneecap dislocation
  • Loose bodies (fragments of cartilage) in the knee joint
  • Popliteal fossa cyst

As knee joint arthroscopy is a highly technological procedure, its success depends on both the state of the equipment used and the orthopedist’s skills. By choosing our knee arthroscopy program, you are making sure you are getting the best of both. On average, our surgeons have 15 years of experience in this field. We have vast experience in arranging this type of treatment in Israel, and have successfully helped dozens of patients enjoy a pain-free life. By choosing Manor Medical Center, you are opting for professional medical care by the best specialists in Israel.

The treatment will take place at the state-of-the-art Assuta Medical Center in Tel Aviv. Its advanced intraoperative imaging guidance techniques help minimize the risk of complications during surgery and help shorten the postoperative recovery period.

Please Note

The suggested treatment (by a specialist recommended by us) will take place at Assuta Medical Center, which is the best hospital in Israel. If you would like, we can instead arrange treatment for you at one of Israel’s public hospitals. In such case, the cost of the surgery (not including the logistics package) will be lower by 20 to 30 per cent. However, while we can guarantee that the surgery will be performed by one of that hospital’s top experts, the decision regarding which physician will depend on the hospitals’ schedule.

You will have to remain in Israel for 2 weeks following the surgery. During this time you will undergo outpatient rehabilitation. You can expect full recovery within 6 months of the surgery. At that point you’ll be able to resume playing sports.

As time is of the essence, if you have already underwent an X-ray scan, you can attach the images to the form. Please also include a radiologist’s summary (if you have one). It will help our Israeli experts draft a diagnosis program for you before your arrive. The long distance doctor’s consultation is FREE OF CHARGE. Alternatively, you can travel to Israel and undergo a high-res MRI here. It will be followed by an orthopedist consultation, following which they will draft a treatment program for you.

Unfortunately, knee damage can’t be cured by wearing knee braces, physiotherapy, acupuncture, massage or pain medications. At best, these treatments will provide you with short-term relief. The only proven method capable of getting you pain free is knee arthroscopy. Don’t waste precious time! Contact us now so you can be back on your feet ASAP!
